The Bio

Born towards the end of the 1970s, Mark grew up in Melbourne, Australia. His parents were on a spiritual journey of their own and as a young boy growing up, Mark moved through various churches until at the age of 12, he and his family settled upon the large local church of Waverley Christian Fellowship (now CityLife Church).155723182zplmlp_fs.jpg

Mark got involved early on in differing roles of ministry including the tech crew, playing guitar and helping to lead small groups as a teenager.

As a self-taught guitarist Mark has also dabbled in some song-writing that some churches around Melbourne have used in their worship.

Mark was also part of, and subsequently the Producer/Director of the youth radio program Solstice which was broadcast around Australia and overseas through the international radio station HCJB.

Mark has a passion for studying the Word of God and has preached on occasion. He loves sharing the Word and has done so individually and in small groups. He loves the redemption plan of Christ and how Jesus is the focal point of redemptive history.

In March of 2002 Mark married his beautiful bride Jeanette and they started their own life together. They have two children, one daughter and a son.

Their journey has taken them through some churches and currently they are making their church home at CityLife church in Knox, in Melbourne.

  4. Hey Mark,
Thanks for dropping by my blog. I hope you enjoyed it.

  5. Hey Mark, awesome blog you have here. I saw your comment about my site. I have worked extremely hard to bring God’s iPod to people, but it seem from the comment you made recently that you doubt it’s value. Is there something you think I could do to make it more valuable? It’s my heart to just bless people and encourage them to read the Word each day. I’m all ears.

  6. Hey, Mark, I’m racking my brain, trying to work out where I knew you from. I’m thinking it was Deakin Uni… Either that or Word. I knew you when I was at Uni I know that much…
I found your post relating to Casey City Church/Larry on Guy’s forum when updating info for “Out of Africa”. So you are friends with Larry, he know everyone doesn’t he :)
My husband Stuart and I are part of Casey City Church, I work for the church as well as teaching at Hillcrest Christian College (where the church meets).
Hey I noticed on your pics of your wedding that Carl and Susanna sung for you. Nice :) Carl is my cousin.
Anyway, it’s a small world, even on the internet.
God Bless you and your family.
    From Karen
